Personal Data Protection
UNIMED PHARMA, a Slovak manufacturer of eye drops and ophthalmic products, recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy and personal data of our patients, customers, partners, and website visitors. Therefore, we approach the processing of personal data with the utmost responsibility, transparency, and in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Slovak Republic and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
What data do we process?
As part of our activities, we may process the following categories of personal data:
- First and last name
- Contact details (email, phone number, address)
- Data related to orders or communication with customer service
- Data necessary for fulfilling legal obligations (e.g., accounting)
Purpose of personal data processing
We process personal data only for predetermined and lawful purposes, in particular for:
- fulfilling contractual obligations and providing our products and services,
- improving the quality of our services and communication,
- sending important information about our products,
- fulfilling obligations arising from legal regulations,
- statistical and analytical purposes (in anonymized form).

At Unimed Pharma, we place great emphasis on the security of your personal data. - erasure ("right to be forgotten"),
- restriction of processing,
- objection to processing,
- data portability.
Data retention period
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was obtained, or for the period specified by law. After this period, the data will be securely deleted or anonymized.
